Discerning a Priority of Balance

An impressive work invites impressive responses.  To date about one dozen book reviews have positively highlighted, Unlocking the Mysteries of Creation.  However one large creation organization has chosen to review this work negatively.

As you may have realized by now, Unlocking the Mysteries of Creation has been creating a bit of a stir among some people lately.  All we wanted to do was to help people discover some of the Awesome creation of God that is often overlooked by the mainstream media, education and religious leaders who tend to publish what is favorable only to evolutionary ideas.  We deliberately wanted to maintain a high view of the authority of Scripture. Being the first edition of a new book, we expected some corrections to be noticed so we could make changes in future editions.  But we were surprised when one creation ministry decided to publish a condemning web page critique; a list of things that was 95% devoted to their opinions about what should or should not be included in our book, many of which were based on incomplete information or a deliberate bias on their part.

The complaining posture of the critique has prompted many fellow creation ministry friends to voice their rejection of the critique and their support for the quality careful work we have done in the book to encourage people to think for themselves and dig further into the subject.   To see the reactions and reviews click on this link:

A veteran author and friend of this ministry wrote recently about the internet circulated "critique" of our new book, 'Unlocking the Mysteries of Creation.'

"I am appalled at the attitude of the critics of your book. They seem obsessed with "peer review" in scientific journals. The same closed-mindedness that shut them out of secular journals, they now display to shut out writings they want to shut out. If we can print only things that have been published through peer review, what a dull reading world that would be."

During the preparation of the new book we did get much input and correction from many fellow researchers, but for some critics the only objective analysis that counts is that done by a certain few journal publishers who may not be telling the whole story themselves.

One of the objectives of publishing the book was to give a fair introductory exposure (with pictures) to evidences that have been insufficiently reported to the vast majority of the public. Many people have been influenced by only those writers who hold negative opinions that are possibly not as informed as they might be.

The Twin Cities Creation Science Association web page has graciously offered to host a collection of postings to help people see what the issues are and what different people are writing about them.  To see the long list of about 100 complaints and our rebuttals to them you can visit the following website:
