Indoor air pollution: Is ‘Home Sweet Home’
hazardous to your health?
says that the air in the homes in urban and rural America is routinely
5 to 30 times as toxic as the outside air, and can be as much as 100
times as toxic. Consequently, the Agency
(EPA) rates indoor air pollution among the top 
environmental
health risks. Where is the worst source of our
environmental toxins? In your homes! Scientists
have been studying the effects of the pollutants in our water, in the air,
and in cleaning products for decades. Their
conclusion? "The
combination of breathing the poisons and absorbing them through our skin
from generation to generation has resulted in a catastrophic epidemic of
health problems".Warning labels on containers refer only to toxic hazards from ingestion; however, only 10% of health problems from chemicals are caused by ingestion. 90% are caused by the inhalation of vapors and absorption of particles.

scientists at the MOUNT SINAI SCHOOL OF MEDICINE sampled
Andrea Martin’s blood and urine to see what toxins she’d picked up
from the world around her, she got a surprise. “I had 95 chemical
contaminants in my little body. And it was very mind blowing,” said
Martin. The test results indicate that we all pick up an astounding number
of chemicals that are known to be dangerous. None of the 9 adults in
the study worked in or lived near the chemical industry!
"On average, the nine adult participants had traces of 53 chemicals known to cause cancer in human or animal tests. In addition, they had an average of 62 chemicals toxic to the brain or nervous system, plus 55 associated with birth defects. Other research shows chemicals in children are in much greater quantities than the amounts found in adults." "It is believed that both the mutant genes and the chemical levels are passed on to the next generation at the time of conception through the egg and sperm and continue to compound. . . . feeding synthetic chemicals through the umbilical cord. The levels raising. . . . . Generation to generation. . ."

One
example of the increase occurrences in genetic diseases is the
dramatic increase in the rate of Autism. "Autism
is a genetic disease and affects the developing of components of the body
and brain prior to birth," says Wendy Stone, clinical psychologist at
Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. Recently

astonishing statistics.
In 1980 autism in America was practically unheard of. In 1990 the rate of autistic newborn babies in America was 1 in 10,000. In the year 2000 the rate has increased at an astonishing 1 in 450 newborn babies. At the end of 2002, the rate was 1 in 187. Where is this going? By the year 2010 one in 5 babies born in America will be born autistic. Words cannot adequately describe this catastrophe.
With each new generation this problem escalates.
Network news telecast recently revealed these same environmental toxins in home products cause damage to developing brains.
More news reports revealed that exposure of the expectant mom to a caustic environment during the first month of pregnancy can cause birth defects in a newborn.
Chemicals that cause brain damage and birth defects do not belong in products marketed for our personal and house-hold use.

functions of the human brain, so it means that these chemicals find
themselves through the mum, through the umbilical cord, into the baby,
into the developing brain, and damaging functions there, and the baby is
born already with a problem," Koren said.

What's the end result of this brain damage? Among other things, "People are losing their ability to reason." The majority of this "third generation" at any age group, cannot pass a basic education test . Where do you think our kids will be when we get to the fourth and fifth generations of using those deadly home products? Many babies are born with Malignant tumors. New babies are having Heart Attacks, Strokes, have High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, and Respiratory problems like Allergies and Asthma. This is only a small sampling of the more than 6,500 genetic diseases that can be passed on from parents or grandparents, but are more commonly being created new by continuing to use these deadly chemicals.
Medical procedures have made giant strides in the last few decades, but what about overall health? The combined efforts of Pharmaceutical Companies and the Medical Community, with the exception of penicillin, are unable to prevent or cure any disease, yet we trust them with our lives.
The majority of these genetic diseases are occurring when there is no history in the family tree? To the detriment of ourselves and our future generations we are creating them.
